Khaldun Champion Spawn




The History



The dungeon known as Khaldun takes its name from the location of the Lost Lands (LL) where it resides; to reach it just proceed from the city of Papua (in the Felucca facet) southwards just beyond the Hoppers Bog area. It is possible to access its interior via two entrances, both in the LL and located a short distance from each other. The history of this dungeon is linked to the story of an expedition of missing explorers; of these researchers only fragmentary pieces of their diaries remain, still found on the ground inside the tomb or in their damned bodies (like loot). The dungeon was in fact the objective of four explorers who aimed to discover the lost tomb of Khal Ankur. The Khal Ankur who is remembered in the history of Sosaria for worshiping the goddess Death. It is even said that the priests of the order of Death worshipers the so-called Zealot had themselves buried in the tomb after Ankur's death. The story tells of how the explorers (Tavara Sewel, Morg Bergen, Grimmoch Drummel and Lysander Gathenwale), together with a large group of mercenaries, dug up the entrances to the tomb and penetrated it. Once they arrived in the antechamber of the tomb, things began to fall apart for the explorers: the group was attacked, dispersed and then exterminated by strange monstrous creatures. The damned spirits of the seekers and their escort still wander the tomb damned for eternity.

The Dungeon



All creatures within this Dungeon are vulnerable to the "Caddellite Infused" slayer, although it is not a common slayer it is possible to make your weapons and spellbooks infused with this slayer via a gem that you can purchase from the Researcher in front of the Khaldun's entrance!

Champion of the Cult



Khal Ankur and his hordes appear in the antechamber at the bottom of Khaldun's dungeon, his forces are divided into 4 spawns, composed of:

  • Skelemental Knights can be of two types, one with poison damage but weak to energy, the other with energy damage but weak to poison.
  • Skelemental Mages appear in two different versions, one with fire damage but weak to cold, the other with cold damage but weak to fire.
  • When Khal Ankur appears, he is immortal and unharmable, summoning the Cultist Generals to attempt to defend his cult of him! He will first need to defeat the Generals to ensure that Khal Ankur becomes attackable!

Hidden Chest



Inside the Khaldun dungeon it is possible to find some "Hidden Chests", if you find yourself in front of something invisible that blocks the path then you have come across one of these chests! In order to open them you must first use the "Detectiv Hidden" skill on the area to reveal it, after which you will have to lockpick them with the "Lockpicking" skill. Inside you can find:

  • Relics of Hydros, Lithos, Pyros and Stratos
  • Decorative Painting (3 styles)
  • Artifacts of the Cult
  • Decorative Counterfeit Platinum
  • Dreadhorn Mane, Corruption and Taint
  • Other items such as bandages, smoke bombs, invisibility potions, lockpicks, gold and gems.

    The Researcher



    During the continuation of the Champion Spawn you will receive random items from the "Cult" directly in your backpack, including weapons, jewels, armor and shields! It is possible to deliver these items to the Researcher, located in front of the entrance to Khaldun, each item delivered is worth 1 point, by acquiring the given score it is possible to purchase one of the Researcher's objects:
